Origen del Ingles

Since its definitive consolidation in the fifteenth century, the history of the English language is inextricably linked to that of the two countries whose economic and political unstoppable rise would extend its use throughout the world: first Britain and then America.

States since 1603 under one crown, Scottish and English State merged in 1707 by the Act of Union, which established the Kingdom of Great Britain, to understand the whole territory of the island of the same name (Wales, the East of England, and belongings to it since 1535). The new kingdom adopted its current flag, the famous Union Jack, which is the result of superimposing traditional flags of Scotland and England.
